Groundbreaking McDonald's Opens Largely Automated Location in Texas

In Texas you can find a McDonald's that has been described as the first fully automated, or largely non-human run rather, location.

Right now they are just testing the idea out to see how it works.

You might expect that the automated system would get it right every single time and make no mistakes wouldn't you?

Would you be surprised to find out if the automation ever made frequent mistakes?

Some have been busy on social media sharing those failures and roasting the company for the inefficiency so far that they might have experienced.

We know that we are likely to see more automation like this in restaurants around the United States and elsewhere.

When one of the most common issues for fast food businesses is scheduling and finding employees to keep these businesses running smoothly it is no wonder they might turn to more automation to reduce that risk.

Already, there are some critics who have been pointing out the concern that they have with this advancement in technology and how it might displace more entry level jobs, while others celebrate such an idea.

Seeing robots serving isn't anything new and we have come to see more of it in the last decade, with many businesses around the U.S. now using robot waiters, and much more.

These are the signs of things to come. I hope they build in the special request for no salt, less salt and the thousand of things we can ask for. Here, it's curry sauce for the chicken nuggets.
