Apple's iPhone is always rumored. A few months ago, it's been said that the iPhone, which will be released in 2020, will be replaced by a new design. In support of this, a recent iPhone design has been revealed through foreign media. Let's Go Digital, a Dutch information technology (IT) media, reported today (local time).

In the published patent specification, the biggest feature is the disappearance of the 'notch'. The top of the bezel sits alone in the front speakers. The camera or other configuration is not visible.

The iPhone sticks to the notch design from the iPhone X to the latest iPhone 11. It was a change from the existing iPhone design, but was also teased and called 'M-shaped hair loss'. Notch has always been up and down the center of the controversy. That notch disappeared.

In the absence of a display associated with the pop-up camera, the camera and sensors are likely to be embedded under the display. It is not technically impossible. Many companies have already developed the technology for built-in display cameras and have even released their prototypes. Xiaomina Oppo is launching a smartphone with built-in display fingerprint recognition.

The reduced bezel size is also impressive and the corners of the screen are angled to the same level as the pre-iPhone 8.

Other button structures are the same as the current iPhone 11. There is no image of the back of the smartphone, so the detailed camera configuration cannot be checked. If you guess from the side image, it appears to be in the upper left.

Not long ago, development information leak expert and industrial designer Ben Geskin claimed that Apple was testing a prototype that broke away from notch design. The company has tested notch and bezel sizes and smartphones with smaller cameras and sensor modules. This is where the design of the bezel is located without the camera and the sensor built in.

The expected launch date for the iPhone 12 is September, with time remaining. It's time to wonder if Apple will drive new design innovations or whether other smartphones will be a different wind.
