Galaxy Fold 2 Should we fold vertically? Should I?

The Galaxy Fold was released in September. Samsung has announced that it will release a foldable phone up and down next time. Recently, a prototype that can support this has been released and is drawing attention.

Wenzhou user Wang Benhong, a social network service (SNS) called the Chinese version of Twitter, posted five foldable phone photos with a comment, "See Samsung's latest foldable phone." The smartphone in the picture is a foldable phone that can be folded. You can upload photos taken from various angles to see the overall smartphone appearance.

The concept of folding a smartphone was taken over, but a different approach was applied. If the Galaxy Fold was to fold left and right, the leaked smartphone would fold up and down.

The front is covered by the display and made a punch hole for the camera. The bezel looks a bit wider than a regular smartphone.

Galaxy Fold has been controversial due to wrinkles in the folds of the display, but it is difficult to determine whether or not the wrinkles are only based on the leaked image.

Unfolding the device feels longer than conventional smartphones. On the other hand, folding the device reduces its volume, making it as small as a palm and looks good to carry in your pocket.

When folded, it faces the second display. The screen displays the time, date, and battery level. The size is difficult to accurately measure.

You won't see the Samsung logo anywhere on your device. Instead, you can see that the Samsung app is installed on your desktop. The Samsung Pay app is also visible. At the bottom of the unit is a speaker and a USB-C port, and the earphone jack is not visible.

Looking at the leaked image, I can't help but think of Motorola's recent laser return. Because it resembles a lot of lasers reborn as foldable phones.

Compared to lasers, the thickness is thicker but can be an advantage. You'll have more battery space. At the same time, the Motorola Razr complained that the battery capacity was too small, at 2,510mAh.

It is currently unknown whether the smartphone in the leaked image will be released on the Galaxy Fold 2. Samsung plans to unveil its next product, the Galaxy Fold, by 2020.
