Solar update 271020
There was a C4.3 Solar Flare thismorning!
Currently there is a 32% change of getting another solar flare, and the probability it will be an M or X flare is low, but slightly elevated on region 2778 which spit out a handful of C-class flares today.
Two sunspot regions have been detected by the Solar Dynamic Observatory.
Here is a high resolution composite image taken by the SDO.
This C4.3 class coronal mass ejection took place from 06:11 to 06:21 and peaked at 06:16
This next image was taken at three timestamps in three wavelengths, 06:16, 06:17, 06:19
There could be increased chances of seeing the northern lights soon!
Keep your eyes on the skies!
