Healight hype cycle imminent. Stock scam alert!

Sometime soon political websites will start talking about a hypothetical device called the "Healight", which purports to be basically a bronchoscope with a high-power UVA LED at the end instead of a white-light LED. The only evidence for such a technology is a press release from a very small company called "Ayto Bioscience" who is a bit-player with (until very recently) sub-one-dollar stock prices, whose primary technology seems to be the art of the press release.

The name of the well known research hospital Cedars-Sinai gets thrown around a lot by the folks pimping this (I can find no mention at all of it outside of political websites), and I've looked and can't find an announcement of this "groundbreaking new technology" from Cedars Sinai itself. (That doesn't mean there isn't one, it only means I can't find it).

If Cedars-Sinai had developed a ground-breaking new technology, it beggars belief that they would partner with a tiny pharma company best known for press-releases.

This has all the markings of a pump-and-dump stock scam.

I've seen a ultra-generic marketing video of the device, but have found absolutely nothing in the relevant literature that suggests it is possible to kill virus infected cells in the alveoli via UV light from a bronchoscope. If anyone can find the announcement by Cedars-Sinai (not from some political website, but from C-N itself), please do share.
