Clusterhat startup video
Back in June, I wrote a post on how to create Docker swarm on a Raspberry Pi Clusterhat. https://peakd.com/clusterhat/@dickturpin/clusterhatwithdockerswarm-8ryn3i2kg2
These are great little things for teaching yourself the basics of installation, configuration and management when it comes to Servers and or Clustering. They're not overly powerful so don't expect blistering functionality along the lines of a Cray Computer but on the command line (CLI) there's no difference between it and any other Server, you don't have to cluster them although it is kinda what the hat was designed to enable. When I bought mine I had to buy all the elements separately however Pi Hut is now selling a complete Clusterhat kit (Minus the case) for £90.00 which is a bargain if you ask me.
I've had a few people exclaim while looking at the pictures of it "Ooh that looks cool" so with that in mind I've thrown together a very short video.
Be warned, the quality and production aren't that good, you can tell I'm no Quentin Tarantino. The start of the video is using SSH to log into the Clusterhat (Its located upstairs) once logged in we need to turn the Cluster on which only takes a few moments. Once everything is up and running we can have a look at our cluster with Lazydocker (it's probably in your distribution repo) to be honest, we don't really need to open Lazydocker the swarm is running.
Proof in the pudding is our container (Portainer) is being served, hence the name Server.

Ooh, pretty lights! I wish I could think of a use for it. I have a couple of Pi Zero plus some other RasPi. One is working as a photo frame, but I ought to find uses for the others.
If you know how to create bots you could run one against Hive, it'd stomach that. You could then set the Zero's up to do load balancing.
That is something I should look into. I think I found some tutorials a while back.
