In a survey that previously asked adults in the United States about their CBD consumption, here were the most popular reasons people reported (see image above) for why they were taking CBD.

CBD has become increasingly available around the United States and in other countries, though authorities in different regions have been confused over the substance and previously raided it from shelves etc.

Increasingly, people have been turning to CBD to help with anxiety, insomnia, inflammation, tension, depression, headaches, and more.

This has now grown into a multi-billion dollar market, expected to surapss $20 billion in sales by 2024. CBD is quickly making its way into a variety of different industries, including many CBD options in food and body products.

CBD has been seen to be effective at helping to reduce seizures in children with epilepsy, it's also becoming an increasingly popular option for dealing with anxiety and sleep issues as well.

CBD is the nonpsychoactive compound that is found in cannabis and so it's no surprise that many more people might be willing to try CBD before they would venture to try cannabis; which includes the THC as well, giving them the 'high' that is associated with the cannabis experience.

While the product has boomed in popularity so too have the fraudulent options coming to market, there are many low quality CBD options out there and potentially harmful products so it's important for individuals to do their research and know that they are purchasing from a trusted, quality source.

The potential that cannabis has to provide healing for a wide variety of ailments is simply incredible, especially since there is the option for people to reap those benefits from the plant without "getting high" as so many might still be afraid of. Those who have seen the benefits firsthand are thankfully eager to share their story, and many people are willing to see if it might help them even if there aren't vast amounts of studies to prove all of the possible benefits and risks.

Still, researchers say that the claims are way ahead of the science here and that's mostly because criminalization of this plant has greatly stunted research. Thankfully, that is slowly starting to change.
