SteemSTEM Distilled #114

avatar
(Edited)

For a change, this 114th distilled of the best content posted last week on SteemSTEM is late. The reason, a future particle collider workshop in Beijing that kept our one-man distilled team busy with other matters. Anyways, let's move on immediately in order not to increase the delay!

For those who do not know what SteemSTEM is, please take a look here or pass by on Discord or on the Steem Chat.

Our top choices

What happened to the new superhero?

What is this new superhero all about? Well we won't tell you and it is mandatory to have a look to this post from our curator @carloserp-2000 to get the answer. The only thing we can say is that it helps to purify water, get extremely fastly rechargeable batteries, and open the door to new futuristic applications. to know more about this unknown superhero (and get it known), please pass by the post!

Regreening the Cradle of Chinese Civilization

The craddle of Chinese civilisation is connected to the Yellow River (to know why, please check carefully the above image or read the post from @agmoore2) that gets its colour from the Loess plateau, a region now completely scratched from any sign of life... except that China now tries to turn back time and regreen the plateau. For more information, please pass by the post!

Thank you, @lemouth. Featured! Truly honored. You know I love SteemSTEM. It's an amazing collaboration between accomplished scientists, scholars. And yet you make room for people like me, who explore and research. You and the other writers here set a standard I try to meet every time I hit the keyboard. It's always fun and always an adventure.

And to be featured with carloserp-2000, who wrote a brilliant article about graphene, and manages to make it entertaining!

Congratulations to everyone mentioned in this edition of Distilled, and to everyone who wrote a piece for SteemSTEM.io.

Write on, Steem on!
Thanks so much.
