:) I like the moss attempt ... just the lack of more suitable macro equipment is visible, skill is alright ... I like the last shot the best, there you achieved the desirable depth of field and clear composition that emphasize the moss without other lovely distractions from the woods
... but what I like about the posts on Steemit ... ie that they are not about just one perfect shot ... but more about the blog, a perfect atmosphere, with various pictures combined with words to take you and let you experience the place or someone+s vision of a place and someone's thoughts ... and the moss post, has that value, that's important to me ... In this digital era, the Internet is filled with great National Geographic quality photographs, but without something meaningful, personal, or funny, or sincere to accompany them, I really don't feel the need to watch them ...
Some very wise words here. I totally know what you mean. I have been watching many blogs here with photos of mediocre or even below average quality but their authors add a lot of value to those posts by sharing their own stories, backgrounds etc. and that is what is to be appreciated too ;)
Thanks for your feedback on that moss post ;) I know the technical deficiency is obvious there but I am afraid my cell phone cannot do any better than that :D :/
