Earth Science Focus: Little Paleontologist - Apatosaurus
The apatosaurus
While researching different types of dinosaurs the Little Paleontologist can excavate today I found the Apatosaurs. New name for me and new dinosaur for me, so why not let the little Paleontologist teach us something new.
Let's excavate.
The apatosaurus is also known as the "Deceptive lizard." This dinosaur was classified under the sauropod classification. While it fell under the sauropod classification, the apatosaurs ate plants, just like most of his "family". This meant that they where herbivores.
In some scientific circles the apatosaurus is also known as the bronthosaurus.

The apatosaurus is said to weigh around 19.8 tons and is about 21 meters to 28 meters in lengths. They had sturdier legs, where the hind limbs where bigger than the fore limbs. They had a large claw on each fore limb and three toes on each
hind limbs also had claws.
When the apaotsaurus hit their very big tails it most likely registered about 200 decibels on the scale.
