RE: Interesting trend on Steem related sites and Steemit.com post ranks high on Google

You are viewing a single comment's thread:

for my own brand and website I have a few number 1 rankings and I have a number of featured snippets. I put a lot of time and effort into the articles to get the ranking and traffic. its very generic. I was not using steem for it because, well when I tried at first, it was not noticed or appreciated.

I could do some of these posts exclusive for steem and I have considered it in the past. Maybe I will reconsider, for the love of steem (hmmm did I just say that?)

My most recent post proves I'm a supporter of all content. #allcontentmatters

I admire the work. Calling it generic might be a poor choice of wording, but you know exactly what I mean. It's nothing negative.

I wasn't noticed at first either. Probably for the best though. Scroll all the way down and you'll see why. I had a lot to learn.

I do things for the local crowd but more often than not it is timeless entertainment that appeals to viewerships/readerships anywhere. Some posts are internal memo types, like my most recent post and yours here today. All of these eyes are important to me. I like to work the crowd.

I'm not ashamed to say I admire this place and have no issues creating exclusives. Like I said, my role is to help keep the eyes around. My posts get a lot of engagement. When we had a view counter, they got a lot of views. Some of my posts had more views within hours than all the of the top 10 trending posts combined... yet those reward thingys were much lower. Go figure.
