Steem: a token mine with unlimited possibilities!
No tribe tag?
It is rare, but it still happens, Steem posts without a Steem-Engine tribe tag, like Neoxian, Palnet, Marlians, Sportstalk or Steemleo, etc... Steem has become so much more than just Steem. Why people don't join these tribes is a question I can't answer. But these people leave so much at the table. Of course the rewards in Tokens, which are in fact worth a lot if you handle them correctly. But these tribes have brought me way more than just these Tokens. What?
Much more visibility
Visibility, that is the key-word in this. Before the tribes, I used to get between 10 and 20 votes organically on an average post. Now, with the tribes and the niches they cover, I get an average of 40 to 70 votes organically! If that isn't an incentive, well, then I don't know what is. I get way more interaction on my posts, and new followers, and I have started following way more people too.
If you aren't using these tribes and tags yet? Well, start with them immediately, you get monetized for it, but you will gain attraction to your posts, and that is what we all want, right? At least, I do, it is nice to know that what you have written and put effort into gets read, and appreciated or just not appreciated.
Steem is so underrated right now, the market for this "token mine" and "niche tribes" is huge, and it's just a matter of time before a new wave of steemians come rolling in to get their piece of the pie!

USE MORE TRIBETAGS!
It's the fastest way to get ALL THE tribes in search results on Google and Co into the no-man's-land of search results.
Every tribetag is a copy and you produce double content with the same copied content. This is one of the most important factors in the Google algorithm. The more unique content a page has, the better.
If you want to make all STEEM pages on Google meaningless, use MORE Tribetags in every post ;)

Well, SEO has nothing to do with Steem in my opinion... So I see no problem

If you think this development is good for Steem, then keep the opinion. Steem is in the eyes of Google only a shithole with double, triple or mutli double content.
Where do you think new users come from who don't know STEEM or Steemit? If you only want to pick up the tokens everywhere in your clickcircles, then go on like this. If you want to change something for the whole ecosystem around the STEEM, you should google simple basic rules for web projects.

Good point. I found Steem through a google search.. I'll bet many people these days are searching things like "How to make money blogging", ect. I don't know much about SEO, but your argument is very logical imo.

It is not only a opinion. 85 % of Internet users come to new pages via search engines. If you are not visible in the search engines, you will always remain in your small filter bubble.

Today I wrote about Steem Engine token to my polish community. Many peiple didnt know what is tribe and what is token SE. I think more people live to old steemit. We must education steemians.

I suppose you go check out some tribes like sportstalk.social, steemleo.com, palnet.io, and see for yourself! The palnet tag you can use for all content! steemleo is for investment content, and sportstalk is for sports of course!

Thanks for the reply. I know the idea is to investigate. My question was more oriented towards, what tags can be used in general, that are supported from all platforms, for example, when I publish on Sportstalk I add Pal, Leo and Marlians since they are all supported. I dont know if I am explaining myself very well.
Well watch out with Leo, because they are quite strict and downvote when the post is not about investing!

Wow thats an excellent explanation. I didn't know about it. When you make a post in sports talk do you add any tag. I mean like a tag that supports all content?

The tribe tags are certain to help the ecosystem to grow in time. I'm very excited for the future of some of them! We can create niche tribes that grow with time and with more content creators, effectively stealing some of the other webisites content creators! Imagine if the hackernoon content creators moved over to STEM it would be amazing! Or the businessinsider's content creators moved over to steemleo!
