STEEM SCOT Voting Power

two.jpg

https://economicstudio.github.io/vp/?a=USERNAME&t=TOKEN#

Nell'esempio dello screen shot pubblicato, all'indirizzo

https://economicstudio.github.io/vp/?a=miti&t=LEO#

SCOTAUTO: Steem Scot Claim Automation

one.jpg

https://economicstudio.github.io/scotauto/

three.jpg

Carlo (@miti)

Hello everybody,

that Steem Engine has brought a breath of fresh air, making last spring sweeter than ever, it is certainly a fact.
Many communities have immediately jumped at the chance to build their own front ends and launch their own token with which to pay authors who receive the votes of the curators. Practically the same thing that happens today with Steem, with the difference that they often focus on a specific niche and in fact work with their own token.

In this Scotbot, the beating heart of Steem Engine, has a big task which is to make everything work properly.

Many users have decided to stake the tokens received through the various airdrops that have followed, with the effect that they now receive curation rewards in steem power but also in all the tokens of which they hold a stake amount.
I realize that for many the whole system after the introduction of the Steem Engine has become damn complicated, but I assure you that after a bit of practice things will always seem clearer.

In fact, over time things will become more defined, many of these tokens we have received will lose their value because without a serious project behind them (having your own token seems to have become the fashion of the moment) while many others will come but maybe with ideas clearer and more defined projects.
In any case it is unthinkable that, from the point of view of the user, dozens of different projects are followed so maybe we will also focus on those that interest us most, letting others go.

In this post I would like to talk about some really useful tools for handling Steem Engine and the various tokens that have been built on it. I predict that we are really very far from the multitude of possibilities that Steem offers us to follow our daily operations, but I am sure that with time, even for the other tokens, we will have the possibility of having useful tools to better manage our account.

STEEM SCOT Voting Power

two.jpg

Perhaps not everyone knows it, but the voting power of the various tokens issued on the Steem Engine is not the same as we have on Steem. The motivation is quite simple: not all the posts we vote have among the tags those of the tokens we have on Steem Engine and therefore we could find ourselves in the condition of having our Steem Voting Power at 50% but that of Palnet at 100% because the posts that we voted in earlier and that brought down our Steem voting power, they didn't have Palnet's tag.

In this case the very useful tool created by @blockchainstudio, ie STEEM SCOT Voting Power, allows us to see what our voting power is for all the tokens built on Steem Engine.
Just go to:

https://economicstudio.github.io/vp/?a=USERNAME&t=TOKEN#

and replace USERNAME with your username without @ and TOKEN instead of the name of the token you want information about.
In the example of the screen shot published, at

https://economicstudio.github.io/vp/?a=miti&t=LEO#

there will be the situation of @miti with the LEO token.

In addition to seeing the voting power with the LEO token, we can find a wealth of information such as tokens placed in stakes, liquid tokens, those for which unstake is required, those that are available for the Claim and the total of all these .
Furthermore we can see the value of our wallet of the token in question: in Steem, in Dollars, the STEEM / TOKEN ratio and how much a STEEM currently quote.

In short, a very useful tool to keep the situation under control.

SCOTAUTO: Steem Scot Claim Automation

one.jpg

If you often use Steem Engine and have staked a good amount of different tokens, you will often have found yourself in my same situation: in the screen shot you can see how I have to claim the claim of 6 different tokens and it is not even the extreme case where I found myself.
In fact, this morning I happened to manually make the claim of as many as 9 different tokens, as I decided to stake all the things I get as airdrop or as curation rewards and so these tokens in turn produce other tokens to be claimed.
With the not so exciting speed of Steem Engine, this procedure becomes quite slow and laborious and so I started looking for some tools that would allow me to make the claim automatically, still encountering the mythical @blockchainstudio that programmed Scotauto, a tool that allows the automatic claiming of rewards at fixed intervals (now set to one hour).
Going then on this page:

https://economicstudio.github.io/scotauto/

three.jpg

and by entering your name in the username field if you want to use keychain, or by going to the marked and highlighted page and giving authorization with the posting key via steemconnect, it will be possible to give SCOTAUTO permission to make the automatic claim of the rewards by lifting us from this commitment.
It should be emphasized that to complete the registration for this FREE service, after giving the authorization to Scotauto through keychain or steemconnect, a message must be left in this post: https://steemit.com/@blockchainstudio/scotauto where you ask for to be registered.

At any time it will be possible to remove this authorization through the appropriate section on the same page (https://economicstudio.github.io/scotauto/) also in this case either through keychain or using steemconnect.

I admit that I was looking for an application that would also allow me to calculate how much my vote was worth for the various tokens I've staked, but I didn't find any.
In any case, just go to the page of the front end of the token that we want to know the value of our vote and try to vote for someone (you don't really need to do it); in this case the window with the voting bar will open and below it will be reported what is in our vote.
This screen shot will be more explanatory:

four.jpg

In this case I connected to my page on Palnet (https://www.palnet.io/@miti) and after logging in with Keychain I tried to assign a vote. As you can see from the window that opened, my maximum vote is 0.242 PAL.
The same thing can be done with all the other tokens of which there is a front end.

If you have to tell me a tool that does this without having to use such a cumbersome procedure, let me know with a comment!

In thanking once again @blockchainstudio for providing us with these very useful tools, I refer you to my next posts!

Greetings,
Carlo (@miti)

due to many users who thank only by words, some fee (min sp delegation) will be introduced soon when I have time to do it :)

I hear you and you're free to do as you please. But if I may venture to say so, I think you'll be more successful doing like @mahdiyari (Steemauto) and @steemchiller (SteemWorld) with a Weekly (or Daily) Support post.
In any case I'll add you to my curation project with my main account (@miti) as a thank you for all your hard work on steem blockchain.

thank you but I don't pursue success nor money :) if i provide some service for free, it discourage others to make such services. see how many free services died so far. I'm very happy to stop this service immediately if there is some free reliable alternative (preferably by some witnesses). See more interesting projects might be my success on steem :)

Okay, I see your point and in some ways, I agree with you.

A dashboard in which you can add account/tribe VP would be really useful to me so I could scan a list of 10 accounts/tribe and see where I needed to use some VP :)

Perhaps a project to give us more information and settings for the tribes (like steemworld) could be funded from the DAO.

Thanks for the tools!

Ottima recensione.

l'ho scritto così perché hai fatto in post davvero bello e soprattutto utilissimo!

Bravo Carlo!
