Simple AND Tasty Meals

The photos and videos I showed of Le Reve on my article yesterday was taken during my recent visit to Las Vegas.

I am actually away from California attending a workshop/retreat, and it is not at Las Vegas!

This place is "away from the maddening crowd". It is very peaceful, serene, and the environment surrounding me is conducive to learning, deep thinking, and meditation.

For today's article and perhaps the succeeding ones as well, I shall be sharing with you the meals I had the previous day, and perhaps show portions of the Mansion that I am at. There 20 of us living in this Mansion for a week.

The Meals Department which is regularly staffed with five persons is being run by only two individuals, both of which are kitchen personnel.

Instead of our meals served at the table, all meals are self-served, and a few of our table wares are disposable. This is not the usual, everyday meal service in this house.

But as always (it is not my first time here), the meals offered here are simple and very tasty. It is not out of the ordinary, yet all meals are quite enjoyable, just as one would expect from a home cooked meal prepared with love and care.

Breakfast

For breakfast I had Egg-on-a-Hole, a tomato wedge, fresh banana which I sliced and added to my cereals with milk, yogurt, and coffee. I don't drink orange juice in the morning... just filtered water at room temperature.

Lunch

A light Chicken Salad with Sesame Dressing.
For dessert, I had Fresh Fruit Compote, and piece of chocolate.

Dinner

French Beans with Mushrooms and Red Onions. So yummy, this one!
Veal Snitzel
Broccolli Slaw
Polenta
Creme Custard
Assorted Fresh Fruits
I had wonderful meals today! I wonder what's for tomorrow?

I think that we are all blessed for every person we encounter in our life... sometimes, even a neighbor that has not exactly been neighborly, LOL 🤣
The food is very simple but really tasty. As I mentioned, they are missing 3 of their dining room staff, otherwise the service is always done so elegantly. I think tht anyne would enjoy how delicious simple everyday food can taste as served in this place. I shall show more tomorrow, I hope you will not get tired of looking at food photos. That's all I can share with the community because we are not allowed outside the property, lol 🤣 ... but I do love it here. No need for the outside world here. Besides, I have you all here in steemit!

Yes, you told me!!! And you will love this place. There are so many interesting objects and nooks in this house, I know that if I was as good as you, I'd notice them all, lol... I know I am missing out with the many beautiful details of this place. Tomorrow I will be showing the meals I ate (again), I hope that you will not tire looking at food photos.
