It seems upvoting with 100% is not the case ! How much % do you usually give ?
Before becaming a whale in sportstalksocial.com, I'm thinking a lot.
The thing that I always did before is always upvoting with 100%.
I was doing so, to get the maximum curation reward and to give steemians the maximum I can.
But, I noticed those who are upvoting me, rarely giving me 100% , even if they have less power than me.
So, I think if you noticed that as well, you have to understand that the power we have is limited.
If we always give 100%, we will not be able to upvote a lot of steemians per day.
But, being a minnow all the time, I thought that I'm doing a good thing if I upvote with 100%.
It's seems that's good only for me and the people I upvote. But not for all the community.
But, it could be bad for me as well. Because this way, I don't reach more people.
But, I don't really have a lot of time as well, that's why I was doing that. It save usually the time.
Now, since I want to be a whale and I will have enough power to distribute, so I will not give 100% maybe.
Or give that only for very special posts that deserve it.
Anyway, I'm thinking. What the best % to give while upvoting ?
How you usually upvote content and your upvote is based on what ?
It's really interesting to hear from you, before I choose again the wrong strategy.
I would like to hear this as well from all the tribes, I know that some of you use other accounts, but I want this even for the main account in steem, because I don't really have that much time to manage more accounts.

Yeah, that's the amount that you give. You always give 100% because you have about 100 steem power. Only after having 500 steem power you will be able to choose the %. So, it seems that I'm talking only to those who have more than 500. lol ☺

Some people give the minimum and that's 1% to upvote the maximum people, but even if they are whales, that upvote is so tiny. Some of them always change that depending on the post. But I like to choose a stable number to save time. Maybe 10% for me will be good. Maybe I will have to spend time to think, how much to give to each one. It's really annoying sometimes. We have to think about so many things when we curate. lol ☺
I think throwing big votes can reduce the curation, because we need bigger votes to get high curation. With small vote is mroe easier to earn big curation on post, which should earn much more than value of the vote.
Yeah, it seems that's right if we vote in the right time. I was mistaken all the time.
It must be inexperience and lack of time but I vote big if I like the content . I only vote a few times a day

Yeah, but the problem that I don't like to leave my voting power 100% for a long time. I do my best to spend it all. So, I always check my vote here and how much time left to be full : https://www.steemnow.com/@clixmoney , then I try to spend everything till 12 hours left and I go to do my things, then I comeback after 12 hours to spend it again. Those should be more than 10 upvotes a day with 100%. That's how I was always doing.

Today I recorded a video with creative exercices from me and I shared that to sport community, but I think the video is creative enough to share with creativeoin as well, but I didn't share that because I don't need any flags ! So, tell me at least if exercicing is creative for you or not ?
I'm not sure what creative exercise looks like, but if it isn't dance... I would leave creativecoin out of it.

Sorry, removing STEM...
I was keeping my power at 90%+ and only giving votes of 1 cent or more. But I found out going down to 70% gives better curation rewards and I can spread my tiny votes out more. Still working this to figure it out, and it will all change if the fork goes through anyway.

Yeah, it depends on a lot of things. When we upvote, who will upvote after us, will be the post flagged or not. That's why manual curation is always the best !

I think when talking about tribes, people didn't yet set the term of whale, dolphin and fishies there. But we are trying to copy everything by saying that. more than 10,000 you are a dolphin, more than 100,000 is orca and more than 1,000,000 is a whale.
But for me since I moved to tribes and I want to feel like a whale there. I want to consider 100,000 already a whale in each tribe. It's like a dream that I will never reach in steem, but I wanted to feel reaching in the tribes. lol
But recently I was thinking after reading a lot about tribes. What if our whales in steem will decide to move to tribes and they will have millions of staked coins in all of them. Will I feel a whale with 100,000 ? No, of course. So, maybe I will never be a whale in my life. lol

To be a whale in steem requires thousands of dollars investment. And yes if they cane here then we will be again minnows having 100000 staked but still minnows. 😂😂😂
