The project involves the construction of a 35-kilometer section of the Hyperloop route in the King Abdullah Economic City area.

The city is located between Mecca and Medina.

Virgin Hyperloop One, which is currently a pioneer in the development of this technology in the world, will be responsible for the implementation of this historic undertaking.

It is worth noting here that it belongs to the American billionaire Richard Branson. Currently, the company already has a full-size capsule and a 500-meter test track near Las Vegas, where it is successfully testing its magnetic railway technologies.

The Virgin capsule recently reached a speed of nearly 400 km / h.

Construction of the Hyperloop route is scheduled to begin later this year. The Future Railway is just one of many futuristic projects planned by Prince Muhammad ibn Salman ibn Abd al-Aziz Al Su'ud, heir to the throne of Saudi Arabia.

The Saudi Vision 2030 project involves the construction of a several hundred kilometer Hyperloop route from the city of Neom to King Abdullah Economic City, Mecca and Riyadh.

The country's authorities want to create a new Arabian Silicon Valley in the northern part of the country. Virgin Hyperloop One wants to build the Hyperloop railway of the future not only in Saudi Arabia.

This technology is also very popular in the United Arab Emirates and India.

Richard Branson's company has plans to build a network in Dubai and Mumbai.

The world's largest Hyperloop track is to be built in India.

It will connect Mumbai with Pune, two locations approximately 150 kilometers apart. Recently, we also saw plans to build a global transport system based on Hyperloop.

Virgin Hyperloop One is working with DP World Cargospeed on this.

Of course, global transport plans are a matter of at least a decade, but most importantly, something is already happening on this issue.
