The premiere of the Lucid Air model from Lucid Motors received a lot of attention in the United States.

A competitor to the Model S from Tesla has appeared on the market.

The company reports that the interest in its electric vehicle is huge, especially among people who have been or still are happy owners of Tesla. Lucid Air in its most powerful version, Dream Edition, will offer a sprint to hundreds in just 2.5 seconds and a top speed of up to 350 km /

h.

The car is supposed to cover the quarter mile in just 9.9 seconds.

Two electric motors will have a total power of 1080 hp.

Lucid has developed the fastest vehicle charging system ever.

The range of the vehicle will be extended by 32 kilometers for each second of charging. The company informs that the top version of Lucid Air will be able to cover up to 832 kilometers on a single battery charge.

Interestingly, bi-directional charging is used here, so the battery can be turned into a large powerbank and charged with other vehicles or devices. Air is expected to be available in the second half of next year.

The cheapest version is to cost PLN 300,000, while the best version is even PLN 637,000.

It is worth noting here that in the cheapest version, we will get a vehicle that will cover as much as 643 kilometers on a single charge (20 minutes of charging is 480 km of range) and will accelerate to 270 km / h and, therefore, will offer better parameters even than the best Tesla.
