Coronavirus and Universal Basic Income

For some years now, the "Universal Basic Income (UBI)" has been discussed as a solution to mitigate the destruction of jobs that is expected after the general introduction of robots in the industry.

This basic income is defined as the right of every citizen and accredited resident to receive a periodic amount that covers, at least, the vital needs without for that reason having any consideration.

This income would be received generally by all citizens, regardless of their heritage or social status.

In recent years, some pilot projects have been carried out with deferential results depending on the country in which it is implemented and ranging from € 600 to € 1,500, depending also on the country.

What is intended is that everyone has the basic needs of food, accommodation and sanitation in order to spend their time and effort looking for a more or less remunerated occupation that satisfies them.

But now that an unprecedented economic debacle is sensed due to (hahaha) the coronavirus, government voices are beginning to be heard in favor of this basic income.

Certainly the idea is great, the bad thing is that this basic income, as you can guess, is very expensive and not all governments will be able to afford this.

Either way, you have to take advantage of the occasion and now that it seems that they are softer due to the coronavirus, take the opportunity to hit.

Here I leave you a link to a platform in case you want to sign in favor of this "Universal Basic Income"
