SpaceX launches JCSAT-18/KACIFIC-1 [Live: 17.12.2019, 00:10 UTC]

SpaceX is launching a communications satellite that will cover the Asia-Pacific region with mobile broadband services.

The booster is a Block 5 on its 3rd flight and will land on a drone ship.

The mission to geostationary orbit will launch from SLC 40 at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station.

SpaceX will attempt to capture the fairings.

Cargo:

  • Payload mass is approximately 6,8 tons

Launch window opens at 00:10 UTC (December 17th 2019).
