This was my absolute favourite mag in the 80's! I'd spend hours typing in the programs and even more hours looking for the mistakes I'd made! I had every copy issued. How I wish I'd never binned them when I got married in 2000 lol..

Living in the U.S., I never saw this mag during its original run but I had similar magazines for my Commodore 64. I don't know if Your Computer had anything similar, but the magazines I read had a program that you would run before you started typing in other programs. It would return a checksum (some kind of hash I guess) on every line entered so that you could compare to the one in the magazine so that you would instantly know if you entered the line correctly or not. Saved a ton of time looking for errors...
