Hello, @mistakili. This is a very nice review. It is detailed and well presented. Well done. You know, you are very correct. Privacy is indeed a SERIOUS matter. I watched the video at the end of your review and towards the end of it, I heard "Social media was meant to connect us, but has now been weaponized." This is really crazy. I believe that the birth of the blockchain technology will reduce this. For example the Steem blockchain, a user does not necessarily need to provide any personal information to be able to interact with the other people except they choose to reveal them willingly by sharing pictures of them selfs. IMO, this is something every other social media should adapt. It has it's negatives side too but the fact that the user privacy is secured, makes it a better social media.
The dphone application seems very interesting and I will consider trying it out. The thing is, 90% of the people on the internet today are already caught up in this privacy issue.

There are many blockchains with such solutions, at least I know of 2 other besides steem, one spectacular thing about steem is its reward mechanism, other blockchains dont offer that, so its a plus for steem. I still think the future belongs to the blockchains that are most private and rewards. I cant help but think of steem, again.
