That sucks that they have to shut down. It's too bad they couldn't find the funding somewhere else. Then again, maybe they are ready to be done. I used to listen to The Week In Tech podcast a long time ago.

They are always changing things around. It can depend on who runs that department and they have a limited budget to make the shows they want. I have listened to some of the TWiT shows. One issue is that they can be pretty long and I want to fit in other shows. I do tend to listen to most podcasts speeded up to get through more.

Is Leo Laporte still the main guy for TWiT? I honestly haven't listened in so long, he could be dead and I wouldn't even realize it. Lot's of podcasters do their own thing and seem to be successful. It's too bad this group couldn't do that.

He's still around. I used to listen to This Week in Google and Security Now, but that was when I was driving 3 hours per day. They seem to be a big operation with lots of shows and fancy studios, so there must be money in it. I listen to a mix of corporate and independent shows. There's something for every interest out there.

Usually the only time I listen to podcasts is with my wife and then they are true crime stuff. She digs all that.
