What is ProximaX?

ProximaX is a decentralized technology which is assembled to provides a medium for users to power up their own social interface through the use of the next generation integrated and Distributed ledger Technology known as ProximaX Sirius which is been powered by blockchain technology.

The ProximaX Sirius enables the ProximaX platform useful for the developers in the creation of their own decentralized applications and systems solutions for business use.
The ProximaX sirus acts as the back bone which keeps the ProximaX project up his feet and it’s also a proof of greed (PoG) systems which keeps the nodes in price check.

The ProximaX project is advantageous to other blockchain infrastructures due to the edge it has over all others. Some of the benefits of using the ProximaX services are;

  • It is highly scalable; ProximaX projects allow for the increase of more users and helps out in handling workload and heavy transactions. Larger sizes of data in the distributed layers can be stored and streamed by the users while also carrying out a speedy, secure, traceable, transparent and irreversible transactions on the blockchain

  • The use of the ProximaX platform allows developers saves a large chunk of money when compared to other blockchain infrastructures. This is been made possible through the combination of proven off-chain distributed technologies with blockchain and this helps developers to create applications and system solutions easily without an in-depth blockchain knowledge.

  • Highly secured: ProximaX projects are immune to cyber-attacks through the distributed architecture, as it is practically impossible for all nodes to be simultaneously compromised.
    Transparent; ProximaX platforms makes sure that all stored data are time stamped and encrypted by default and this ensures that the data are immutable, irreversible, completely secure and Audit trail-able.

  • ProximaX projects are easy to use as the Sirius API and SDKs are available in a broad range of programming languages and this allows it to easily integrate with a range of applications.
    The proximaX allows for that cross-chained of networks that’s are even outside the ProximaX Sirius platforms.

The benefits of having all the tools required to develop any type of project in one place is that it allows the flexibility and more breadth to the possibility of multiple use cases the projects could offer at a go. This allows for the project utilization to be extendable further.

Some of the core services which the ProximaX projects tend to achieve are been discussed briefly below;

  • Storage capabilities: one of the core services of the ProximaX project is the provision of space for storage and this is been achieved through the Distributed File Management System (DFMS) that the Sirius storage provides. This Sirius storage enables the storage of structured and unstructured (binary) data into a collection of peer-to-peer storage devices hosted by different owners

  • Streaming: they are two forms of the streaming services provided by ProximaX Sirius and they are the live streaming and the storage streaming. The live streaming allows for the recording, transmitting and immediate distribution of live data to the viewers while the storage streaming is allows for data to be pre-recorded on the Sirius storage and streamed to different viewers.

  • Database: the Sirius database service is available on a private offering package only and it is an optional external platform which utilizes documents based storage with Tendermint (a blockchain properties) as its consensus algorithm.

  • Supercontracts: this are sets of executable codes that’s spells out the obligations to be perfomed in a logical flow of digital contract. Of course the codes are safely stored in the Sirius storage and the execution is the work done and therefore incentivized.

ProximaX

SDKs and REST APIs are the mediums by which the platform can be used by the consumer. Applications can be fully decentralized, semi-centralized, or completely centralized as seen fit by the developers via the SDK.
Each application can use ProximaX’s core services directly, or build its own platform to provide the core services to its own end users.
