Hi, very nice article and discussion. As when wikipedia appeared, teachers have to adapt indeed (I asked my students to write contributions to wikipedia, for instance). I like the suggestion to ask for sources; indeed ChatGPT might be able to provide good looking references but it will invent them, sometimes even citing journals that don't exist. A good way to bypass ChatGPT is to ask questions about facts or events it does not know about, such as events after 2021 (like commenting research papers recently published), of rare facts (as demonstrated by @scholaris.stem).

Finally, make the students work in class and in limited time is still a good way to check how they work; it can even be adapted to online synchronous evaluations...
