VPN Misconception: Public WiFi & Data Protection

avatar

A common misconception pushed by VPN ads is that your data isn't secure on public WiFi without a VPN, but is secure with a VPN. Well, I'm here to explain that there is actually a surprisingly minimal difference nowadays in regards to the security of your data whether you are or are not running a VPN on public WiFi. Please note that this video has nothing to do with anonymity, it only discusses the protection of sensitive information entered into a website (such as logins or credit card numbers).

Hey, I would like to let you know that with hive, you may earn tokens in hive.engine.com. And I found your content here : VPN Misconception: Public WiFi & Data Protection. Because in STEMGeeks Community the tag #technology is considered to make hive posts appear there. In stemgeeks.net I mean. So, you may see your page here : https://stemgeeks.net/@natebowie

And to login to such front ends, you may use hivekeychain. It's the most secure way to login to websites and applications on hive blockchain because it saves keys only on your device.

The same about DCC token. We don't have a frontend but I use the token to reward those who create collaborations or help me with @dcooperation. I already sent you some DCCs for your entry in the movie, what you can find here in your wallet : https://hive-engine.com/

To login also use hive keychain. It works only on pc.

Thanks for the heads up and the DCCs, I didn't realize I was participating in the STEMGooks Community as well with the tag. Checking it out now.
