Entering the world of 3d printing

Few days into 3d printing

A week ago i decided to buy a 3d printer, because i was amazed by this technology before but never had the guts and time to learn it. I decided to buy Ender 3 pro 3d printer because i found out that is one of the best entry printers for a really good price (250$). Ofcourse there are some downsides of it, like you need to assembly it by yourself but i found it fun because i really had time for this ! It wasn't even that hard even tho it scared me that you are assemblying it for two hours. So once you get your printer together don't think that you are done, you just press print and voila here is your model. I did testing for three days. I was learning Cura slicer program where you set up settings for the printer. To anyone new, at first you need to make 3d model or you can find them online and just download them, there are plenty available already. Second you take the 3d model to the slicer program where you set all the settings, and this is really important part because if you fail here the end product will just look ugly, so you really need to dive in the settings because there are so many for each model different ofcourse. So once i did some testings and got some pretty cool results i decided to go for a really big model print that is printing at this very moment a big Thanos statue for my friend that has a birthday in a week, i just thought of it that i perfect because there are no stores opened and online shipping usually takes way to long so i decided that i do something for him on my own. I can't tell you if the print will be successful because it's my first big print and i was tweaking settings for nearly three hours in order to negotiate with printer to give me best quality in as little time possible, well i ended up 48 hours of printing and pretty good quality. The print will be around 211cm in height. Here is a picture of printing right now and some test prints from before:
