not-yet lit
a brown dwarf
too small to fuse
to cast waves
of any
consequence
too mundane
to create
crests and troughs
capable of cradling
the earthen and elemental
too small to fuse
to expand beyond the simple
and into the higher periodical
too bound to limits
to evolve
be reborn a pulsar
act the guiding star
brown dwarf
existing
taking space
but never
catching fire
never supporting life
with expansion and warmth
