Master of Science

To a gruel contest
Challenged he him
Confident of laurels
At the end of the duel.

Human ailments he cured,
Plan sickness he treated;
Earth drought he cured;
Solutions to aliments,
Many marvelled at his expertise,
Wondering what other magic
There is for the master of perform.source

There was nothing more to cure,
Tired hands begin to slumber,
No movement could he make
Laid he down in one mystery of sleep.
Like a dead log he seemed.source

Comrades watched as he
Drifted to the abyss of oblivion,
No other scientist armed with the magic
Tried though, for eight hours;
Mystery to sleep like death,
They failed to unravel.

Seeing their helplessness
The master of Science
Not a single step take
But with a second's breath
Roused him the Omniscience of all ages.
