RE: The End of an Era? Your Cars Future

If you don't own a car anymore that's one less thing to worry about.

I have not had a car at all. Owning and driving a car is luxury. Especially nowadays. If I see a used car, then the annual insurance would cost the half of the price of the car. And you cannot legally drive a car in traffic without insurance. At least in most countries. The cost of the fuel (gasoline/diesel) is also high in the sky.

The annual insurance in the UK for an 18 year old person is astronomically high. A used car valued at £1,500 would cost £2,500+ to insure.

Owing a car is incredibly expensive in th UK but people have been led to believe that they should have a car!?

People rarely question why they do the things they do?

This is much more crazy even than the insurance prices in my country (in Hungary).

Somehow the mainstream media is easily manipulating (or even controlling) the most of the people. This is scary to think about.

People rarely question why they do the things they do?

Nowadays the people rarely question anything.

Exactly people should question everything they have been led to believe.

Owning a car in the UK is a clever way to tax the drivers without them realising it. The congestion charge in London is a goldmine for example. Parking costs in London are astronomical as well.
