Photography costs as much as one affords. Items may represent greater value, thus an understanding of one’s aim with photography sets the price. Of course, one may overspend for an education in any realm. Yet, knowledge is power, so I feel no cost outweighs learning. I might take debt to understand financials, but the skillset does end itself to earning potential, applied correctly. Photography’s significance may feel small, yet the proliferation of smartphones with cameras suggests everyone holds a vision they wish to share. One who photographs earns the title, thus if you do, you are. Photography may be the greatest medium to date. Photographs entice, advertise, and honor. They fade, glow, and stand the test of time. Some photographs take time and others save it. We appreciate photography so much, we photograph before we say grace, or eat. Photographing ourselves, others- all of us together. I used to think smartphones hurt photography… I no longer know so sure.

People read. Perhaps not immediately or quickly or even thoroughly, yet we read. So, I write. I write not for another to read, but for myself to learn from my experience. I might read what I write the most and the least. Complaints come easy so I figure I underestimate people without knowing. Blockchain does not fix everything, the same way a photograph does not catch everything. Yet portraits, like a blockchain, see the problem. Users decide what to do with both the photo and the chain. Both ultimately guide progress. The rich experience richness as they change into businesses early and often. Those with conviction early in Bitcoin, but any technology really, often see reward. Their patience, gratitude- many virtues beget them richness. My mother, three years ago, nearly lost her job as someone of a different skin color asked her to punch out early. Three years later, this person’s position hangs in a precarious balance since the manager who installed them at the hospital leaves her occupation. The manager’s departure highlights that the woman who almost fired my mom sits in an illegitimate position, threatening others’ job security while virtually adding no value! In short, people make judgments for many reasons. Safety comes to mind. Thus, for all the motives one might have, I insist we cannot rule out racism too slowly. I clearly see the effects of nepotism, fraud, defamation, plain discrimination- too many issues all with one glaring consistency: race.
