RE: Sutton Hoo Anglo Saxon Ghost Ship Rebuild

Edith Pretty was awarded all the treasure by the inquest as it was found on her land.
An inquest has to be held when treasure is found on a burial site or cemetery.

Two days after the inquest she donated it all to the British museum so that the public could see it.

This treasure is of course priceless.

The build is always looking for sponsors as it is all done by volunteers.

My daughter donated a rivet for the boat in my name. Which is very cool to think on.

Maybe someone will dig up my rivet in 1400 years time? 😂👍🏼
