Last waterdrops for a while [Original Photography]

Hey all

So these will be the last waterdrops I post for a while. The system is taking up too much space in the kitchen!! In the new house (I'm moving soon), I'll hopefully have a permanent studio for this kind of stuff, but for now, these are the last ones.

This one was just plain water with a blue background. Looks a bit like someone sat down

This one is interesting. I moved the camera a bit higher and put some purple food colouring in the water. Then I placed a light green piece of card behind the drop. this gives some lighter highlights in the ripples and makes it look kind of oily.

This one is just a simple red food colouring one with the same green background card (although it doesn't show up as much in this red one).

That's all for now. I'll keep posting the regular photos of course but no more water drops for a while :)

A really interesting and very professional job! I can observe the images that are formed and the effects with the colors. I like that last image that looks like a big red breast. The water fragmentation is great. Congratulation, @markangeltrueman.

oooh I really like the oily one from the higher angle. Cool to get more of a perspective on the ripples and it really frames the two drops with a cool background. I hope you end up with the studio of your dreams in the new house!

Your photos look so good and polished they feel like they're digitally made.

Hopefully the moving is not too stressful.

I did not know this job.
Waterdrops are amazing and I like them very much. I love slow motions and this kind of photos are very similar, because they trasmit dynamisms.
Good job!

These are all so amazing! That is so great that you will have a studio in your new place. We will all benefit from that!
