After the sunrise and fog photos of the past few days, it's time for a waterfall again, isn't it?

Nach den Sonnenaufgangs- und Nebelfotos der letzten Tage ist es wieder einmal Zeit für einen Wasserfall, oder etwa nicht?

Well, it wasn't completely icy, the aterfall Stockenboi, but at least a little bit.

Komplett vereist ist er zwar nicht gewesen, der Stockenboier Wasserfall, aber wenigstens ein bisschen.

It's been a while since I was at the Stockenboi waterfall, and I was quite positively surprised that there was some ice. It's not that much ice, but it clearly shows that we still have winter.

Es ist schon eine Weile her, dass ich beim Stockenboier Wasserfall gewesen bin, und das Eis hat mich doch sehr positiv überrascht. Es ist zwar nicht so viel Eis, aber es zeigt doch deutlich, dass wir Winter haben.

No way for a sunrise shot, because east is behind the waterfall, and because of the location of the waterfall, a sunset photo is also not possible, I think.

But thank you very much for your kind comment, @tomsmaid, and yes, Iceland would be a great place to stay for a while and take photos, thousands of photos ;)

Der sitzt wirklich dort drin und beobachtet aber uns hier, wie wir alle schon seit Wochen sehnsüchtig auf den Schnee warten. Wahrscheinlich grinst er den ganzen Tag lang, wenn er mich sieht, wie ich jede Wolke, die nur ein bisschen nach Schnee ausschaut, sehnsüchtig anschaue ;) lol

That is great winter waterfall photography @johannpiber. I know that with colder winter it would be much more icy, but it still looks gorgeous.

Thank you so much for your kind comment. In a "normal" Winter this waterfall and all the others would be completely frozen. Especially this one, because it is in the shadow most of the day.
Never mind, now I'm waiting for the Spring to come and hope for some snow in about 10 months time ;)

I agree with you, because what does it matter if I don't do my work or sleep - in both cases no work would be done, but in the second case I would feel better, and that's what every employer should care most about - their employees have to feel good 😉

I'm late - we have been visiting my parents and just have come home.

As far as I know it is different in Japan, where it is common to sleep at work, but I think they do it for minutes only.
It is called power-napping I believe, but even if I was allowed, I couldn't sleep at work - I need some silence and time to fall asleep, and it has to be dark ;)

I was up at 5am too and have just before come back from a short trip to an almost cloudless sunrise in Slovenia.
The kids are somewhere playing Paintball and the weather is beautiful, so I think I'll go for a walk with my wife after lunch.

Well you are doing better than me, the temp this morning is about -7C so I stayed indoors it may hit 40 F this afternoon so a chance to go for a walk, but will see how the days go

I did paintball a few times with army buddys, so much fun but can also be painful LOL

We have had a nice walk around a small lake nearby and it had about 11C. Hope your temperature will climb up that you can go out for a walk.
My kids have had much fun, and it does hurt they say ;)

yeah too many people spoils places, I am sure the mall will be crazy, if my wife doesnt need anything specific from there I may suggest we go somewhere else like Lowes a home supply company that is big and wont be so crowded lOL

ich würde sagen, es ist ein kalter Frühling. Es ist 06:18 Uhr und vor dem Büro zwitschern die Vögel 😉
Dieser Wasserfall liegt eigentlich fast ganztägig im Schatten. Der sollte also komplett vereist sein.

Morsche 7.30Uhr draußen ist alles nass, denn es hat heute früh, ich denke es war so gegen 4.30 oder 5 Uhr geregnet, was gut für die Natur ist. Jetzt scheint schon wieder die Sonne und wir erwarte einen heißen Tag. Soll aber noch mehr regnen. Wahrscheinlich in der Nacht und natürlich morgen am, ja es ist tatsächlich schon wieder Samstag.

Wir haben wieder einen schönen warmen Frühlingstag hinter uns und ich denke, dass das Wetter übers Wochenende so bleiben wird.
Morgen geht es zu meinen Eltern nach Oberkärnten und am Abend wieder nach Hause. Da oben gibt es leider auch nicht wirklich Schnee, aber mal sehen ...

Wir hier haben es wieder 30° heiß und wir hatten zu wenig Strom. Kommt im heutigen Bericht.

Dadurch lief keine Klimaanlage. Dementsprechend bin ich am schwitzen.

Ich danke dir, aber ich denke nicht, dass welche fallen werden.

Ich kann mir schon vorstellen, dass dir heiß geworden ist. Wenn man mal an eine Klimaanlage gewöhnt ist, dann dürfte es umso schlimmer sein, wenn sie an einemheißen Tag ausfällt.

Danke ja bis gegen morgen wo es mir unter der leichten Bettdecke dann doch zu kalt wurde, irgenwie ist es mit 13.5 Grad heute früh doch etwas frischer geworden.
Letztendlich hat mich dann unsere Rosi aus dem Bett getrieben in dem sie einfach im Bett über mich kam und mir so zeigte, dass sie raus will/muss.

Nun wenn ich dann meinen Allerwertesten schon aus der Kiste raus habe, bleibe ich natürlich auch auf, zumal es ja schon hell war draußen.

Wenn es hell wird, dann werde ich schon wieder müde ;)

Das hat unser Kater auch immer gemacht, als er noch jünger gewesen ist - da sind dann 12 Kilo auf der Brust gelegen und miaut 🙂
Jetzt kommt er meistens immer später und manchmal muss man ihn sogar wecken.

Ja, war wirklich schön - ein schöner Tag und eine schöne gemütliche Fahrt. Ich kann gar nicht verstehen, warum viele Kinder, die hinten sitzen müssen, immer so lästig sind auf längeren Autofahrten - ich hätte noch lange so weiterfahren können ;)

Wenn du chauffiert wirst, siehst do so viel mehr von der Gegend - Strecken, die ich schon jahrzehntelang fahre, kommen mir plötzlich anders vor, weil ich sonst beim Fahren nicht viel mehr als mein Blickfeld nach vorne gesehen habe. Jetzt habe ich fast einen Rundumblick ;)

Siehst das ist der Unterschied. Ich sehe alles wenn ich fahre, denn ich konzentriere mich nicht nur nach vorne. Vorne seh ich immer auch aus den Augenwinkeln. Wichtig ist auch was an den Seiten und besonders hinter mir passiert.
Das heißt wenn ich fahre kreisen meine Augen. Da entgeht mir nichts.
Gerade in Österreich konnte ich deswegen auch das Wild schon sehen bevor es mir in Auto lief und war somit schon darauf vorbereitet. :)

Das ja - so schaue ich natürlich auch, aber was ich meine ist, dass ich gewisse Landschaften oder auch nur Gebäude oder Bäume als Beifahrer wirklich ansehen kann und nicht nur registriere, dass da ein vielleicht schöner Baum gestanden hat.

Und mit dem Wild hast du natürlich vollkommen recht, und speziell im Herbst musst du bei uns wirklich immer darauf gefasst sein, dass ein Reh vor dir über die Straße springt. Ich hatte schon Rehe, die über die komplette Fahrbahn gesprungen sind und andere, die gemütlich drüberstolziert sind, ohne sich um mich zu kümmern ;)
Von der meterlangen Ringelnatter bis zum Dachs, Fuchs und kapitalen Hirsch hatte ich schon alles vor meiner Stoßstange, aber glücklicherweise immer nur davor und noch nie einen Wildunfall 👍🙂

Doch Anfang der 80iger auf der Rückfahrt von Ungarn ich denke es war im Burgenland, lief mir ein Rehbock in den Kastenwagen. Er wurde dann von einen Förster erschossen.
War ne Delle in der Schiebetür.
Versicherungsschaden.
Das war mein erster und einzigster größere Wildunfall. Von Vöglen welch gegen meine Aufbau geprallt sind und einer Gans die meinte sie müsse während er Fahrt durch die Tür kommen wollen wir nicht reden. Die haben keinen sichtbaren Schaden angerichtet am LKW, selbst es aber mit dem Leben bezahlt.

Das bleibt nicht aus.

Wenn Du aber mit nem LKW fährst und dir knallt eine Taube an der Aufbau vom Trailer und fällt dann runter in die Kardanwelle,was meinst wie da die Federn fliegen :)

Das glaube ich gerne, als Berufskraftfahrer, egal ob im Taxi oder im LKW unterwegs, da siehst du schon einige interessante und sicher auch komische Sachen.

Das würde ich nicht so sehen, zumindest darf ich zum Arbeiten gehen unterm Tisch hervor und sie hat mir auch einen schönen blauen Himmel auf die Unterseite des Tisches gemalt ;)

If there would have been a lot of snow it would have been a winter idyll, but so it was only a somehow frozen, but yet quite beautiful waterfall 😉

In such a Winter like we have it this year it is quite hard to find frozen waterfalls, so I was glad, to find at least a few ;)

This was planned over many months I think, but I have no idea what it will bring us. I hope that it won't change too much for us and that the Steem price raises a bit more, but we'll see soon, I believe.
