I found these two in love toadstools last weekend on the hike around Lake Forst with my wife (The lake is dry / Der See ist trocken).
They were right next to the path and they were both almost complete alright even though they were right next to the trail.

Ich habe diese beiden verliebten Fliegenpilze letztes Wochenende bei der Wanderung um den Forstsee mit meiner Frau gefunden (The lake is dry / Der See ist trocken).
Sie waren direkt neben dem Weg und sie waren beide noh fast komplett in Ordnung, obwohl sie direkt neben dem Wanderweg gestanden haben.

Because I did not want other people to become aware of the two beauties and maybe separate of even destroy them, I just took two pictures quickly.
I did not care about exposure or composition because I saw too many destroyed mushrooms lying on the way.

My opinion is: if you don't eat the mushroom, leave it alone.

Weil ich nicht wollte, dass eventuell andere Leute auf die beiden Schönheiten aufmerksam werden und sie vielleicht trennen oder (zer)stören, habe ich nur schnell zwei Fotos geschossen.
Dabei habe ich mir keine Gedanken um Belichtung oder Komposition gemacht, weil ich auf dem Weg zu viele kaputte Pilze liegen gesehen habe.

Meine Meinung ist: Wenn du den Pilz nicht isst, dann lass ihn in Ruhe.

The fly avarice really are a beautiful mushroom. I used to have the yellowish variety growing in the woods at my old house in Massachusetts.

Some people are just stupid, some might think, the mushrooms are edible, take them and change their mind later.

I do also hope, that people will leave them alone and let them grow. These were the only intact ones of their kind I have seen this year.

Beautiful! My favorite mushroom and I would have brought the pair home to make a tea. But don’t worry, hopefully most of the destroyed ones already spread their spores!

Yes, I know, but I just hate it, when they pick the mushrooms and throw them away.
So, you make tea of these mushrooms? I would be too scared that I'm doing something wrong and the tea is toxic instead of having a hallucinogenic effect ;)

I have never hallucinated from it I drink it to treat anxiety and nightmares. It really works. If you eat a piece of it fresh, the size of a euro, the taste is good and I promise 10000% you will feel amazing about 20 minutes later. You won’t feel sick, drunk, or weird only good and happy with lots of energy. You feel like what you wish a cup of coffee could do.

I do believe you, but unfotunately we have grown up, knowing this mushroom is the most poisonous that grows here in Austria, and this knowledge stucks in my mind. So, I don't think, I could eat it without being scared to death 😉

The color is so vibrant on these two mushrooms. Great shot.

Those aren't edible, though, are they? I'm pretty sure those would be very-not-good for you to eat; I think they'd be toxic, in fact.

Yes, some people are just stupid - they pretend to love nature, go for walks and then they throw their waste on the paths and into the forest, although there are plenty of waste bins especially around this lake, and they destroy pretty looking mushrooms. I do know, that's no major crime, but I cannot see a reason in destroying things.

Very beautiful and amazing mushrooms! They have very bright red color. It's great that you found them before they would be destroyed by other people. I love mushrooms, but this couple is too cute to eat. I promise, if I find them, I'll leave them alone among nice nature, for sure. ;)

lol..yes you have to have a small portion I think and it's also used medicinally for some issues but that takes time to dry them out and make teas or whatever and I'm too lazy for that. lol.

That would be an interesting post indeed, but to be honest, I would be much too scared, because I haven't taken any drugs in my whole life, apart from alcohol, and I do know quite well, how I behave under the influence of alcohol. Unfortunately, I haven't met an elf there, but I do not think, it's an elf's house, because these two little mushroom beauties were standing right beside a footpath where hundreds of people walk every day.
