Macro: Sloe Bug / Beerenwanze

I almost had nothing to post today. That would have been the first day in a long time without a post from me.

Fast hätte ich heute nichts zu posten gehabt. Das wäre der erste Tag seit langem ohne Post von mir gewesen.

I spent the whole afternoon photographing water drops. Drops in blue and pink and then also mixed. I have got some really nice photos, but while editing the photos, I suddenly saw that the camera had apparently switched to automatic ISO setting on its own, or I accidentally hit a button.

Therefore, all the photos are relatively noisy and even if I would be able to save some, I wouldn't be able to finish in time today. So I'm glad I saved a post with these macros on Steempeak some time ago.

So after a long time today I show an insect macro today.

Den ganzen Nachmittag habe ich damit verbracht, Wassertropfen zu fotografieren. Tropfen in Blau und in Pink und dann gemischt. Einige eigentlich schöne Fotos sind dabei herausgekommen. Vorhin beim Bearbeiten der Fotos habe ich aber plötzlich gesehen, dass die Kamera anscheinend selbständig auf automatische ISO Einstellung umgeschaltet hatte, oder ich bin versehentlich an einem Knopf angekommen.

Daher sind alle Fotos relativ verrauscht und wenn ich vielleicht auch einige retten könnte, dann würde ich heute nicht mehr rechtzeitig fertig werden. Deshalb bin ich froh, dass ich vor einiger Zeit einen Beitrag mit diesen Makros auf Steempeak gespeichert hatte.

Also gibt es heute seit langer Zeit wieder einmal ein Insektenmakro von mir.

I posted such a bug already a last Summer, but at that time I photographed another sloe bug. I found this one in another place and at a different time ;)

So eine Wanze habe ich bereits letzten Sommer gepostet, aber damals habe ich eine andere Beerenwanze fotografiert. Diese habe ich an einem anderen Ort und zu einer anderen Zeit gefunden ;)

First day was just playing around with the settings, but yesterday was serious work 😉 and I failed completely. The ISO was at 1600 and I hardly ever use such a high ISO, but I think I'm going to post some of the photos tonight, because when I scale them down the noise is not that visible anymore ;)

Ohh its so annoying isnt it when the camera has a mind of its own and changes settings assuming thats the case I always blame the camera LOl

I cannot remember to have touched the ISO settings - I always have the camera on ISO 100 and only change that when it's too dark, but it was my own fault, of course.
The photos are noisy, but I think scaling down might help, because the noise will get smaller too ;) lol

This bug has been waiting for months to go public and I am very thankful that I had prepared the post on Steempeak.

I shoot mostly on aperture priority mode when walking around the city, with ISO set to an auto range so the iso changes if the light isn't good, I kind of need to since i am not using a tripod and do morning walks mostly, I have to remember to change it when I go out with the tripod tot he beaches on weekends.

Its good to have some shots for post sin reserve for a quick post when needed

Good morning JJ,

I shoot mostly on aperture mode too, but I have my ISO fixed, because I shoot on the tripod most of the times. When I shoot wildlife from time to time I go up to ISO 1000, but only if needed, because although they say my camera does not make bad noise on higher ISO values I don't like it. You'll see it in my tonight's post when I post some of the water drops from yesterday.

That bug was the only post I have had prepared ;)

Looking forward to seeing your water drop posts, I am quite happy with how my camera handles higher ISO's on my previous one i seldom went above 100 ISo but i know with this oneif needed I can go up to 8000 ISo, some noise but not to bad and can be worked with

Thea are better than my milk drops, but I think I have to practise more to press the shutter in the right moment.
I'll really have to think about a place where I can leave my stuff and don't need to clean up after shooting ;)

Lately I have tried to shoot with ISO 6400 because I needed a fast shutter speed for my long lens, but there has been too much noise in my eyes and so I didn't use the photos. What I have heard is your Sony much better ... when shooting with high ISO values ;) lol

Thats something I plan to do as well setup a small at home studio for shots like that

Yeah, I know you want to have a little studio in your new home. If you were my neighbor I would certainly visit you from time to time ;)
I should make a test with my Canon how high I can go before the noise gets too bad, but your's is surely better.

Right, just stay inside and have fun photographing macro or droplets or anything else in your little studio, and you don't need to pack anything away after you're done. That would be cool :)

gute Erklärung :)

Muss heute morgen mit Maus nach Maldonado fahren. Sie bekommt ne Massage und nebenan ist die Werkstatt für mein Auto wo ich den verdammten Keilriemen nochmals nachspannen lassen muss. 2. Mal. Er hört nicht auf zu singen. Dabei sind die alle 3 neu gemacht von denen.
Sind ja nur 60km, die fahre ich nicht mal eben nur zu Spaß wenn es nicht unbedingt sein muss.

na ja er hörte ja auf. Je nach Drehzahl. Nun ist er wieder still und ich hoffe er bleibt es auch. Das Auto hat gerade mal 66tsd Kilometer drauf da können die Scheiben der Keilriemen nicht kaputt sein. Das ist zu früh.
Die Riemen waren altersbedingt kaputt. 6 Jahre ist für Gummi schon viel :)

Ich habe von Automotoren keinerlei Ahnung - kann Wasser und Öl nachfüllen wenn notwendig, und natürlich auch tanken, aber wenn was kaputt ist, habe ich einen guten Freund, der Mechaniker ist - meine Familienkutsche ist jetzt 10 Jahre und hat knapp 180.000 Kilometer drauf. Da fahre ich in keine richtige Werkstatt mehr ;)

Würde ich auch nicht machen.

Hier allerdings war das Gewährleistung. Hat nichts gekostet. War auch schnell erledigt.
Hab nur gedacht, dem Mechaniker müsste es eigentlich peinlich sein, dreimal an der selben Sache rum zu schrauben.

Vielleicht hatte er heute einen guten Tag.

Natürlich, solange Gewährleistung besteht oder das Auto noch nicht zu alt ist, fahre ich zum Vertragshändler, aber nach 10 Jahren ist mir das zu teuer.

Drei mal an der selben Sache arbeiten bis es passt? Wenn es dich was kosten würde, dann könnte ich es verstehen, dass sie kassieren wollen, aber so. Ich denke, du hast recht und der Mechaniker hatte heute einen guten Tag ;)

Kannste laut quietschen.........

ähem sagen wollte ich schreiben.

Mir ging das Geräusch schon auf den Zeiger.

Ok ab einem gewissen Moment war es wieder weg, doch je nach Temperatur kam es dann wieder.

Da wir heute recht heiß haben und sich Gummi wenn es kühler wird zusammen zieht dürfte es nun richtig gespannt sein.

Angeblich habe ich ihr das 2 Meter breite Bettlaken weggezogen und somit wurde sie von einem Moskito attackiert.

Und sie ist es welche immer ein Durcheinander macht weil sie nicht 5 Minuten ruhig liegt :)

Ihr habt sicherlich auch ein 2 Meter Bett.

na immerhin 40 cm mehr als bei uns, da lohnt sich schon eine Decke für jeden :)

Na ja als ich das Bett kaufte, da wusste ich ja auch noch nicht, dass ich so ein unruhiges Kätzchen ins Bett bekomme.

Als wir das Bett gekauft haben, waren unsere Zwillinge auch noch klein und haben oft zwischen uns geschlafen - da war es ganz gut, ein etwas breiteres Bett zu haben, und jetzt haben wir uns daran gewöhnt ;)

I think you mean "noisy" photos? When you photograph in low light conditions and use higher ISO values, the images might have a lot of "noise", they look grainy and somehow unclear - the higher the ISO value , the more noise will be on the photos. ***
