RE: Techno- Report #34 - You'll never get wet in the rain again thanks to oombrella

Maybe I understood it wrong...the umbrella works only if it is outside? But if it is kept at home, how can it tell whether to take it with you or not, when you decide to go out?
Excuse me, if it's a stupid question, just interested to find out how it works exactly :)
