BYD Atto 3 - What do all the buttons on your gearbox do?
One of my high school math teachers said to me: One day when you know what all the buttons do on your scientific calculator, that means you have pretty much learned all the maths. He was right, as towards the end of high school I did know what all the buttons do on the scientific calculator (SIN, ARCSIN, EXP, STAT etc).
Now I guess with my new car it's the same thing. I should know what all the buttons do if I am to become familiar with my car. There are a bunch of buttons just under the shift stick and I stare at them every day, so if I don't know what they do, it kind of feels like I don't know much about my car.
When I looked at the user manual though, there is not one page that shows a diagram of the gearbox and all the buttons. They are scattered around the user manual so I had to do some research just to find out what each of these buttons did.
This video is kind of a summary of the features - but to understand what they do in detail, you will see a page reference for each of the features. Enjoy!
If I have to be genuibely honest, I've still no clue as to what all those buttons on the calculator mean!

Its a good thing to learn all the functions of your vehicle, even if you have to do some researching and tedious grinding on the internet.
If you ever come across a dirt road or rocky places you'd know exactly which feature to use!
