Digital Driver’s Licenses Coming Soon!
Instead of carrying around a physical driver’s license Norwegian citizens can now download and display their driver’s license digitally via an app. The USA is soon to follow with testing already being done in Colorado, Idaho, Maryland, and Washington D.C.

Digital personal information stored online and accessible on your phone! What can possibly go wrong? ;)
(I know - all of that data is already online somewhere - but now if you lose your phone, the battery dies, you drive over it with your car... I suspect you'll wish you had it in your wallet then! And now to show the nice officer your ID, you have to unlock your phone... Just saying...)
Well, people already have wallets on their phones, so why not? besides losing your phone with your license on it won't be much different than losing your wallet with your license in it. To each their own, right? : )
