Does TESLA Share Price Settling at Over $500 Spell the Beginning of the End for Fossil Fuels?

Are the days of fossil fuels being burnt to provide energy to propel our vehicles forward numbered? If the recent growth of the Tesla Inc stock price is an indicator, things may be pointing towards yes. Of course the need for fossil fuels will likely still remain due to them being used as lubricants in a plethora of machines however the days of burning them as fuel may be numbered, which isn't a bad thing given the fears included with doing so such as global warming due to carbon emissions and that sort of thing. Elon Musk, the guy behind the electric car manufacturer Tesla Inc and number of other companies such as SpaceX and the Boring Company is certainly an innovator when it comes to breaking the mold and doing things differently.. Perhaps his vision of the world starting to move away from fossil fuels is starting!

But What Does It All Mean?

Well, no one person can say for sure.. However given the fact the Tesla Inc share prices pumped to well over $540 USD a piece and are still trading over $500 USD a piece seems to point towards both the market and investors starting to accept the fact that Tesla Inc is in fact here to stay with the technology their developing and releasing starting to "rock the boat" as it would. While the phasing out of fossil fuel burning vehicles will likely take a handful of generations given the facts that the majority of vehicles on the road are gas or diesel burners and that lots of countries fiat currency is essentially tied to a sort of outdated "petrol dollar" system, which if upset to quickly could have serious ramifications for the worldwide economy, it would appear to me that the days of fossil fuels are going to be limited.

The move away from fossil fuels into either electric or other forms of energy in order to deal with the needs of the transportation sector seem like a "no-brainer" when you consider that the fossil fuel burning technology is basically well over 100 years old. Given the advances in other fields such as manufacturing, chemistry and computing it seems absolutely ridiculous that it's taken this long in order to start the long road towards leaving the antiquated fossil fuel burning technology behind.

It is after-all the year 2020.. And while the flying cars of the Jetsons may still be a little ways out the very fact that companies trying to release products that are not only different but better for the entire ecosystem are getting support from investors is a pretty clear indicator of change on the horizon. It may be within our lifetimes that we see the oil cartels begin to relinquish their grip on the worlds throat as more innovative and disruptive technologies come out to make their filthy wares more and more obsolete. Hopefully market support continues behind Tesla Inc and their able to continue their research & development along side releasing new vehicles to back the petroleum giants into a corner. The time has come to move away from the old technologies and embrace something new and exciting.
