Telegram will launch a videoconferencing feature

Telegram wants to become a more serious opponent for applications like Zoom, WhatsApp and Messenger, here is a new update that will help them more in this sense.

One year ago, Telegram officials started talks on the possibility of integrating a videoconferencing feature, a better and efficient alternative to zoom. The implementation of the option has suffered a lot of delays, but should be available this month.

Starting this month, Telegram users will be able to participate in bigger numbers in videocalls or videoconferences. According to the communicate posted by the CEO, the update will include all the usual features of a videoconferencing service, like noise cancellation and screen sharing.

The new feature will wok on a smartphone, tablet, PC or Mac. At this moment, Telegram supports one on one video chatting and group voice chat.
