A normal adult breathes on average 12 to 15 times a minute and uses less than 20 per cent of his lung capacity when breathing normally.
IF lung capacity expands then the number of breaths per minute is automatically reduced without one being consciously aware of this.
IF however you practice regularly the classical forms of yoga, your breath over time will naturally slow down.
IT IS SAID.....
If your breath became 11 per minute, you would understand the language of every animal and bird.
If your breath became 9, you would understand the language of the Earth.
If your breath became 7 you would know everything that is worth knowing in existence.
That requires total stability in the energy body. As ones breath becomes more and more stable, gone are the disturbances of life. You see and understand everything as it happens, all the white noise of life disappears.

It’s the one thing they neglect to teach you as a child....... to breathe properly..... and yet it is so fundamental for good health. Do try it yes.. you won’t regret it ☺️
