Caged Jaguars - Monomad

No, not the animals, but aircraft.. RAF Cosford in the UK was/is a graveyard for the Sepecat Jaguar aircraft. A joint British / French venture, the Jag's flew with the RAF until 2007.. The Indian air force still fly them.

Over 500 were built overall and it seems there's a good few left at Cosford, mainly now used for engineering training. I was lucky enough to spend a couple of hours in one of the engineering hangars at Cosford.

The black 'Saint' still stands clean and proud, learning the future aircraft engineers thier trade.

The Jag's flew in the first Gulf War, flying over 600 missions, with no aircraft lost...
