Hive has some great science communities, I browsed around #stemsocial #hive-196387 and #stemgeeks #hive-163521 and found some posts that were interesting to me. Ive made some posts there as well and always found a great audience for my content. Here are a few that I found interesting that I want to share with the community.

https://peakd.com/hive-196387/@mengene/black-holes-a-galactic-feature-science-is-still-yet-to-understand

@mengene breaks down what exactly is our current understanding for black holes. I think over the last few years we have learned alot and this Hive minnow shares with us some information about them.

https://peakd.com/hive-196387/@tomlee/petroleum-production-oil-well-problems

@tomlee discusses the process of extracting crude oil and making it ready for consumption can have many issues. Some of the issues discussed are Well problems, low production rate and low reservoir pressure.

Black Hole Collisions Are Really Bright by @kralizec

https://peakd.com/hive-196387/@kralizec/black-hole-collisions-are-really-bright

In some space news, there was a collision between a magnetar and a blackhole. Causing massive amounts of energy to be released. Ive found the discussion of magnetars to be quite interesting, and how powerful their magnetic field is compared to anything else in the galaxy.

MY RESEARCH: FIRST WASTE-TO-ENERGY PLANT IN AFRICA by @oluwoleolaide

https://peakd.com/hive-196387/@oluwoleolaide/my-research-first-waste-to-energy-plant-in-africa

A facility in Ethiopia has been turned into an energy plant that converts waste/trash into electricity. It will be interesting to see how this plays out but science is really catching up to our trash problem on this planet.

Introduction to 3D printing at home by @robotics101

https://peakd.com/hive-196387/@robotics101/introduction-to-3d-printing-at-home-1593026008

@robitics101 brings us a post about the different kinds of 3d printers out there along with the different kinda of media they can use. An in depth look at all the options out there for constructing 3d objects in real life from 3d models.

That's my five curations of Minnows on the Hive Blockchain. If you know of any other science communities let me know, I would love to start curating other communities as well.

Addresses below to help me buy better camera equipment and support me to travel to locations to do photo and video and overall great blogs in new places. I would be happy to list some of the contributors in my posts for donations that help me along the way.
