The Millennium Falcon and Star Destroyer - My Kid’s Math Projects

A long time ago in Galaxy far far away .....

This was my son’s (Alex) Grade 7 Math Project where he had to build something and then calculate the Total Surface Area of the object. The teacher liked it so much he has it suspended over his classroom desk ... the Millenium Falcon made with triangles, and polygons

My daughter is now in Grade 7 and had the same Math Teacher and the same Project.

When she saw that the Teacher made a big deal about Alex’s Project still hanging from the ceiling above his desk she decided to build a huge Imperial Star Destroyer that could be placed chasing the Millenium Falcon.

They both did very well on their Projects and now have their work on display for the ages....

Yeah.... sometimes you get a really great Teacher. It makes all the difference in the World. I have had a few great Teachers.

Yeah, My boy this year has a great teacher. He is going above what they are "allowed" to due during this strike.. fuck we need to get Doug for out.
