lolMiner 1.36

I have noticed nanominer is not as efficient for my AMD cards as I would like them to be, I decided to look for other miners Specifically for AMD cards Cards where getting too hot with Nanominer 3.4.2 Windows version..

Linux might be a thought.

I very much like the ui lolminer offers, simple and lots of data provided to you. Cards also do not get too hot, considering I even set the Fan speed to manual..

I am testing Lolminer on one card here is what I am getting managed to get a Share in while trying this up, screenshot below..

Quick comparison

lolMiner - 1.36

Nanominer - 3.4.2

I can already see that lolminer might just be better at working with AMD cards, of course this is only minutes of test but with this information I can assume that by running the lolminer it will yield way better results this is just with no overclocking of the cards..

Overclocking does little to no improved profits slight cent changes. It' most likely will lower the life of your GPU that's for sure. Both of these miners and almost all mining tools/software are open source. So you can go ahead and tweak them and compile then and do your thing.

I am currently mining ETH since it is the most profitable to mine currently.. I wrote about mining Ravencoin when ETH finally goes into it's staking mechanism.

Raven Coin Mining - nanominer 3.4.2

I will try to see numbers of Ravencoin with lolminer to comapare. Soon after the successful completing of the Ethereum update to POS I believe the hashing power will disburse and cause a ripple effect on the price of some of these coins.. take for instance ravencoin lets take a look at the what top mine website.

As of right now I am going to do a test run for 24 hours using the stated miner.

What to mine

Looking at the chart below estimates" only using the GPU I am looking to get $3.80 a day with the GPU.

I will be monitoring the miner for 24 hours and check to see which one works best for my set up. I know my internet speed is not the issue with any bottlenecking..

Full Miners ahead.

I have been using NiceHash on my PC's, but I was never able to find something nice to run on my Linux machines. I finally gave up on it. This might be one I need to look into though.

Just wondering, what is ETHASH? I don't really take part in the mining efforts.

I’d like to get into mining. Don’t think i can do it from my MacBook Pro though. It’s all I’ve got.

Used to have a lot of joy with ETC, Raven and Grin.
Mining smaller denominations also tends to work out better unless you have a very scaled up operation.

I have 27 GPU's they are all off after disappointing returns on Nicehash. Can I mine ETH with 4GB cards or do you have to have 8GB cards due to the DAG file size? Is ETH still merge mining with any coins? When I was mining an ETH a day in 2017 (man had I only known) I was also merge mining decred at the same time. I reconfigured many miners many times and it seems its time to do so again. I liked Nicehash GUI and APP control. My homes electricity is capped running S9's and L3+'s at the moment so I still need a solution for more service amperage or I need to find an addition mining location before I can turn the GPU's on anyhow. I am just planning ahead, thanks for any pointers! !LOL

What's the difference between a rain gutter and a clumsy outfielder?
One catches drops, the other drops catches.

@chronocrypto, I sent you an $LOLZ on behalf of @christislord
