My mind is my mind, mind you

So I've been dabbling with my intuition for a while now, realizing it's potential and using it as a tool from time to time. Yet, there have been times when I felt the need to disregard my intuition, ignoring this divine guidance and relying on my mind to make the decisions. I always hear a very clear no yet I still go through with the decision ...
lol
I wonder why.

I was born into Amurica. We were taught about intelligence and logic and decision making ... we weren't taught about intuition.

It took a lot of time for me to become comfortable with the idea that we can make complex decisions using an "apparatus" of our body other than the logical mind. I was (along with many others) completely unexposed to this notion. What a crying shame! There is so much value in this decision making system ... Ha! Even that descriptor falls very short from the mark. It is not a decision making system so much as a future potential processor / receiver.

We're playing with a stacked hand folks! Logic is wonderful ... don't get me wrong! I love bits and bytes and 0's and 1's (and -1's) but there is only so much we can do with it.

What if you don't have the right amount of information? What if you don't have the right information? What if you have the wrong information? Even the most beautiful intellect is slave to the data that it possesses.

There's something wrong about the fact that we are not taught about the intuition, our serial processor, our second mind or brain. It is a damn shame and something out to be done about it. Imagine the wisdom and poise we could possess if we all knew how to utilize this divine gift.

We would become masters in our own right, able to create and share and think in such a wonderful and beautiful way.

Oh well, until that date we will be left to our devices, stumbling blindly through reality like bozos.
Ahh, one day.
One day.

I agree with taking into consideration your intuition. It usually picks up signals much faster than the rational mind.. Of course that it is wise to always wonder about the data with which we feed our mind. It is indeed important. Thanks for sharing!
