1- Increased Warming Trends

While the average temperatures have increased over the last 30 years the rate of change has been far less than what was predicted. The model that was used predicted the change would be almost 3 times what truthfully has happened. In some models the reverse has happened:

The model used in Canada predicted that the increase since 1979 would be over 1-degree change in temperature. The reality is that the change in surface temperatures has been negative.

2 - Crop reductions in 3rd world countries are prompting mass immigration

Crops in mid-latitude countries have not decreased by have actually increased over the past few years. This is in line with the entire narrative that the deserts of this planet are starting to green. Increased water vapour and increased CO2 levels promote plant growth. Mass immigration is not due to lack of food, but due to political and economic unrest. Ensuring fair and stable governance in mid-latitude countries and the opportunities for people to achieve success is much more important. Mass immigration to distal latitude countries will be problematic in the future if as a consequence of the upcoming Modern Minimum (the next Little Ice Age) causes crop failures in countries like Canada and the United States.

3 - Temperatures are highest in recorded history

There is a certain amount of trickery in the way some people interpret temperature change. If I look at today's temperature (0-degrees C) and compare it with the long-range temperature prediction for next Monday (9-degrees C)

I would say that we are going through a severe warming period. Media tends to consider the recorded history to start just after the worst of the Little Ice Age. Of course if one draws a line from a could period to a warm period, one will see worrying results. However, looking at longer range records of temperatures, the Medieval Warm Period was as warm as it is now.

No one will dispute that the climate is changing. What is in dispute is that humans are a large factor in this change. In association with this is deciding what solutions we as a planet should decide upon to be prepared for climate change.
