Small Businesses Prioritize Digital Technology

Small businesses are more optimistic this holiday season and it looks like those who are adapting with digital technology are possibly going to benefit the most to changing consumer demands that continue to evolve.

We have especially already seen this unfold in the food industry space and with other businesses. Consumers want convenience and many prefer online shopping, businesses that don't adapt with digital and changing technology can risk being left behind.

Some might have seen a smaller turnout this holiday weekend with Thanksgiving and Black Friday, but there are a number of businesses that are looking forward to ending the year in a better place.

Those who are worried about the economy might be looking to spend less, and what people need for their holiday celebrations might cost a little more this year, from the tree to the food.

Small businesses have had a difficult few years with the pandemic and now growing inflation, among other potential issues, but they are still out there in their communities showing support to many.

Many consumers have also shown support for small business saturday, as well as those who are planning to shop small this holiday season.

One survey showed that almost half of consumers would be willing to spend a little bit more on products too if it meant shopping small, though not everyone has the room in their budget to make that choice.

Not only can embracing more digital technology changes help businesses to stay efficient with serving their customers but it can also help in areas with marketing and connecting with customers and the community overall as well.
