This is super similar to Indonesian cassava leaf curry too

I miss it much. We dont have cassava leaf here in Canada. I always have to use kale

ย ย ย ย ย Basically that's what this is, a vegan/Ital version of the Indonesian way of making it. Although we don't have fresh turmeric root and leaf, nor shallots, we improvise with what's local.
