Basic Attention Token (BAT) è un progetto voluto da Brendan Eich, creatore di Java Script e co-fondatore di Mozilla Firefox. BAT è un sistema pubblicitario basato su blockchain, che mira a cambiare il modo in cui vengono offerti gli annunci. La quantità di tempo speso per visionare l’annuncio pubblicitario è etichettato come "attenzione" e gli utenti che guardano le inserzioni pubblicitarie possono ricevere una ricompensa sui loro dispositivi. Le monete BAT sono utilizzate come moneta di scambio tra editori, utenti e inserzionisti che operano sul browser BRAVE. E’ stato stimato che tale browser è 2 – 8 volte più veloce dei browser Chrome e Safari.

BAT, un token ERC20, è sviluppato su uno smart contract basato sulla blockchain Ethereum. Il token utilizza la tecnologia PoW (proof of work). Tramite degli smart contracts gli inserzionisti inviano agli utenti, attraverso il pagamento di alcuni token, degli annunci. Se l'utente decide di visualizzare l’annuncio, riceve una parte di questi token come forma di pagamento. Nello stesso momento anche il browser Brave ne riceve alcuni mentre il resto viene inviato all'editore che ha ospitato l’annuncio.

Come Browser è eccellente, ho invece qualche problema con le ricompense. Qualche piccolo problemino che credo riusciró a risolvere nel prossimo mese.

Io lo utilizzo da qualche mese sia da telefono sia da pc.
Ho anche iscritto il mio canale youtube ed ad oggi ho guadagnato circa 8 dollari.
Poco... ma con altri era 0...

Ormai è diventato il mio browser predefinito! È ottimo in tantissime cose, blocca tutte le pubblicità e i vari poupap!

Anche il mio. A me piace BRAVE. Ora devo verificare che il sistema delle ricompense funzioni... ancora non mi risulta

Anch'io utilizzo Brave da diverso tempo, sia su PC che su smartphone, stabile e veloce. Ottimo programma

Io devo capire perchè non ricevo le “ricompense”... questo week end mi impegno per capire dove si è inceppato il sistema.
